November Bullet Journal: Pumpkin Bujo Setup

The Ultimate Autumn Bullet Journal Layout

After long months of guilty absence, I’m finally back with one of my favourite subjects for the season (all year round to be honest, but autumn especially calls for cozy evenings with a cup of hot milk in one hand and a pen in the other) – my November bullet journal layout! And as we love tradition, this year I’ve gone full on it with a super classic pumpkin bujo setup. Old but gold they say, so I’ve spiced things up a little bit by adding touches of green and pink and grey and I’m loving how it all turned out.

I reckon the weekend I recently spent up in the hills chestnut hunting with friends might have helped laying the way for this layout – and how about all those pictures of pumpkin patches and pumpkins decorating American gardens and doors? I wish I owned a house in the States just for that! But of course when it comes to bullet journalling, I always dig my hands deep in Pinterest too, so if you are on the look for some inspiration check the avalanche of Pinterest boards I put together as well as the Bullet Journal board for Lily’s Colours, where I gather all the pics from my previous works. Following hashtags such as #bulletjournal, #bulletjournalcommunity and #monthlyspread on Instagram might help too!

Pumpkins are the easiest choice when it comes to October and November bullet journal layouts. But although I have been using my bujo for years now (see my first attempt at bullet journalling two years ago in the post 5 Things I’m Trying Out This Month)  I’ve always gone for traditional but still atypical themes such as Harry Potter and leaves rather than for the classic of classics. Until today, when I found mysef laying out the month during the one and only night of Halloween and that could only mean one thing: a pumpkin bujo setup.

So while researching ideas on Pinterest and Instagram, I fell in love with this artwork by Amber Davenport and decided that THAT had to be the mood of my month – a cozy, reassuring autumnal feeling softened by pastel colours and rounded shapes: a warm but fancy welcome into November.

What I used:

  • black Stabilo Point 88 fine 0,4
  • Crayola Super Tips Washable Markers
  • Digiele Arts Chalk Marker – Bullet Point (be careful with this, it’s a chalk marker and it isn’t thought for bullet journals so it tends to ghost on paper!)

So now, without further ado, let’s dive into the pictures – check at the end of this article for other autumnal bujo posts you might like!
